The meeting started at 2.00pm black man time with self introduction then reading of report of last meeting. There were many comments on the reports namely:-
a)Creation of Linux Users Clubs in Secondary Schools
b)Creating of Skype or Yahoo Messenger addresses by members for forum chating.
c)Sustainability of the group.
It was agreed that all members should create skype using Firefox and yahoo messenger addresses for forum chating within ourselves and also with our overseas partners.
We also accepted that all members of the group must be on the internet every wednesday from 12.00 to 1.00pm and from 4.00pm upward. This should be done inorder to check lugbamenda@immerda.ch or to look at our homepage for updates. This was agreed to be strickly respected by all members.

Opinion or members were asked about the group the following persons made comments:
1) Miss Unity Mengwi = I am looking for employment and to be trained
2) Miss Chanceline = I am happy with the open source software philosophy and will like to promote it especially to my poor African people because with this philosophy we can develop our selves.
3) Mr Maurice Beukam= I believe in the UBUNTU philosophy were ideas are shared and community participation and support is encouraged. He said he likes to share knowledge and work in solidarity with people.
4) Mr Chi David= I like to learn new things I always want a change in everthing I am doing.
5) Pastor Chinda Johnson = The world now being a small glob that can be reached by net, has made the linux group of bamenda to reach the world and i am also known all over gives me the joy in that i can get in touch with one another be ye black or white for we are one
The duration of our meeting 4 hours was divided into two parts (1.00-3.00pm) and (3.00pm- 5.00pm)will alway be used for differnt activities every meeting day.
Membership fee was abolished but we should encourage support and participation.
Membership cards were to be produced and membership forms. A member will receive a membership card after successfully attending 10 meetings and will equally sign and fill the permanent membership form. It was accepted that this will always be a very joyful ceremony for the member receiving the card and and permanent membership registration. We accepted such a member will be able to sign out books, CD's, labtop, etc etc.
We plan to build an internet library where members will presents the books the have that can be useful to other members. These books will be advertised on the internet indicating who has it and who have borrow it, Mr Beukam Maurice accepted to be responsible for this project.
Mr Beukam Maurice will be offering a 0ne month course on HTML in August. Publicity will be made by Mr Chi and all members for this training. It was accepted that the cost for this course will range from 500frs to 2000frs per candidate. This will begin as from the 1st of August 2007. Miss Chanceline will work in collaboration with Mr Beukam Maurice to make the training a sucess.
We also agreed to add social activities in our program like Music , Visiting ,Dancing , Singing and Drama
A letter was read by Miss Chanceline from Mr. Michel in Switzerland the letter was an appreciation for the work the group is doing. Mr Michel pointed out some issues concerning the Homepage he talked of our Fantasy and making a difference on the first page to show that an update has been made. Mr Michel equally asked if we want him to do something special for the group, he suggested sending Ubuntun CD's we will appreciate any support Mr Michel gives us as our founding father.
HIGHLIGHTS: Miss Chanceline and Mr Chi David will be attending their 8th meeting next week, which follows that they will have two more meetings to attend and be crown as permanent LINUX USERS GROUPS members. It will be a great occasion.
